Join us for an evening of glitz and puggy glamour in downtown Austin. Dig out your leisure suit or paisley prints and bust some 70s dance moves on the disco dance floor! There will be a prom photo booth compliments of Annie Ray Photography, delicious snacks thanks to Threadgill's and Red's Porch, speciality cocktails at the cash bar, a red carpet runway to determine the pug prom king and queen, great music, prom activities including a costume contest, and of course plenty of nostalgia!
But wait, this isn't all about the dogs! Let's see who has the most 70s style - come dressed in your polyester suits, platform shoes or flower patterned prom dresses! We'll have a panel of judges looking for the Best Dressed 70s Man and Woman, so get creative people! Winners will receive a priceless one-of-a-kind trophy and some extra prizes.
Ticket price includes appetizers and sweets, as well as one drink ticket, valid for a beer/wine/well (including our specialty cocktails). All net ticket revenues benefit Pug Rescue of Austin.

How are Prom King and Queen determined?
There will be two categories for this year's Pug Prom - Pug Rescue King and Queen, and Pug Prom King and Queen. Voting for finalists ends 5/6, and King and Queens will be determined by a judges panel at the 2015 Pug Prom.
Can I bring my dog to the event?
Unfortunately, we need to limit the number of dogs in attendance, therefore the King and Queen finalists and active Pug Rescue of Austin foster dogs are the only dogs invited to attend.
Can I deduct the price of the ticket to this event as chartiable income tax?
The fair market value of the food and entertainment received at this event is $10 per ticket. The portion of the ticket price that is deductible as a charitable contribution is the remaining amount of the ticket purchased, therefore the deductible amounts are $20 on Early Bird Discount Tickets and $25 on Full Price Tickets. (Price of Early Bird Discount Ticket are $30 ea and Full Price Tickets are $35 ea.)
